What this is

Your dispatch desk, staffed from Lahore.

Ride Dispatchers runs an outsourced taxi dispatch call center in Pakistan. Our agents answer your inbound booking calls, allocate jobs to your drivers inside your own dispatch software, chase no-shows, handle complaints and work your back office — 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

We are not a software vendor and we are not a generic call centre that took a taxi client. We do taxi operations, and only taxi operations. That is why our agents know what a run-in is, why a 3am airport pickup gets treated differently to a rank job, and what to do when a driver goes quiet on a live booking.

You keep your platform, your brand and your customer relationship. We supply the people, the shifts, the training and the reporting.

Why Lahore

Why fleets outsource dispatch to Pakistan

The case is not just cost. It is the fact that your hardest shift to staff is our easiest one.

Your night shift is our day shift

Pakistan Standard Time runs four hours ahead of British Summer Time and five ahead of GMT. Your 9pm Friday peak lands in the Pakistani small hours, and your genuinely hard 1am–4am window is covered by agents starting a normal morning. Alert, rested staff answer better than a UK skeleton crew on a graveyard rota.

Cost that changes the maths

A UK dispatcher costs far more than their salary once you add employer NI, pension, holiday cover, recruitment, floor space and management time. A managed desk in Lahore typically lands up to 70% below that loaded figure — and it comes with the training, QA and reporting already built in.

A deep English-speaking talent pool

English is an official language of Pakistan and the medium of instruction in higher education. Lahore has a mature BPO sector, so we hire people who already know contact-centre discipline and then train them on taxi work — rather than teaching both at once.

Headcount that flexes with demand

Race day, a snowed-out Saturday, the fortnight before Christmas — volume in this industry is spiky. We roster against your actual call curve and add float capacity for the peaks, instead of asking you to carry that headcount all year.

Compliance handled up front

You stay the controller, we act as your processor, and we sign a DPA plus an IDTA or the UK Addendum before anyone takes a live call. Passenger data stays in your platform. Detail is on our GDPR page — including our sub-processor list and breach-notification commitment.

Reporting you can act on

Weekly numbers on answer time, abandonment rate, booking conversion and repeat-rider rate — the metrics that map to revenue. Not a dashboard of call volumes that tells you nothing about whether you are winning.

Platforms

We work inside the software you already run

No migration, no data export, no "our system only". Your platform stays exactly where it is.

Cabica — the platform we recommend

When a fleet asks us which dispatch platform to run, we point at Cabica. It is a cloud taxi dispatch and booking system, which matters more for an outsourced desk than it sounds: cloud-native permissioning means we can be granted precise, named, revocable access without anyone installing anything or opening a VPN into your office.

Practically, that shortens onboarding, keeps your access control clean, and makes it trivial to add or remove an agent as your rota changes. Fleets already on Cabica are usually the fastest to go live with us.

We also work daily on Autocab, iCabbi, Cordic and TaxiCaller. If you run something else, tell us — our agents have picked up unfamiliar systems inside the standard two-week onboarding before.

Compare the platforms
Cabica taxi dispatch software Preferred platform

Cabica is a cloud-based taxi dispatch and booking platform for private-hire and taxi fleets — bookings, dispatch, driver app, passenger app and reporting in one system.

Because it is browser-based, our Lahore agents log in with named accounts you control and you can revoke access instantly. That is the single biggest practical difference between platforms when you are staffing a desk remotely.

Three ways fleets use the desk

Most start with overflow, prove the service levels, then expand. There is no minimum bundle.

Overflow cover

Keep your desk. We catch what it drops.

Custom / quoted on volume
  • Sits behind your existing queue
  • Picks up on ring-timeout or queue depth
  • Covers sickness and holiday gaps

The honest comparison

In-house desk vs outsourced dispatch centre

Outsourcing is not right for every fleet. Here is the trade-off, without the sales gloss.

Factor In-house UK desk Ride Dispatchers (Lahore)
Cost per covered hour Salary + NI + pension + holiday + floor space + management Typically up to 70% lower, all-in
Overnight staffing Hard to recruit, expensive, high churn Daytime shift locally — easy to staff
Sickness & holiday cover Your problem, often you personally Absorbed by float capacity in the rota
Scaling for a busy weekend Fixed headcount, or overtime Rostered against your call curve
Local street knowledge Strong from day one Trained during onboarding, backed by platform geo
Walk-in and rank counter Physically present Not possible remotely
Direct daily control Immediate, in the room Via team lead, SOPs and weekly review
Setup time Recruit, train, 6–12 weeks Around 2 weeks to live

If a physical counter and same-room control matter more to you than cost and night coverage, keep the desk in-house. If they do not, the maths usually favours outsourcing — and overflow lets you test that without committing.

Onboarding

From kickoff to live in two weeks

No six-month implementation. We map your SOPs, train against your platform, and go live on overflow first.

1

Discovery

A 30-minute call plus a look at your last 30 days of call data — volume curve, abandonment, peak hours, current pain.

Day 1–2
2

SOPs & access

We document your greeting, scripts, escalation paths and dispatch rules. You issue named platform accounts. DPA signed.

Day 3–7
3

Agent training

Dedicated agents trained on your platform and your geography. Shadow calls and QA review before anything goes live.

Day 8–12
4

Go live

Soft launch on overflow. Full cutover once service levels hold for a full week. Weekly reporting from day one.

Day 13+
Our office

Where we are, and why that is public.

Plenty of outsourcing firms will not tell you where the work actually happens. We will. Our operations floor is in Gulberg III, one of Lahore's main commercial districts, with backup power and redundant connectivity as standard.

Clients visit. If you want to see the floor your account will be run from before you sign, we will arrange it — and if you cannot travel, we will walk you round it on a video call instead.

Common questions

Taxi dispatch call center FAQs

The questions fleet owners actually ask on a first call.

A taxi dispatch call center is a team that answers a fleet's inbound booking calls and allocates those jobs to drivers inside the fleet's dispatch software. It handles the phone, the booking, the driver allocation and the follow-up on no-shows and complaints. Outsourcing it means a third-party team does that work under your brand, on your platform, instead of you staffing a desk yourself.

Three reasons. Time zone: Pakistan runs four to five hours ahead of the UK, so our night shift covers your evening and late-night peak during Pakistani daylight, which is far easier to staff reliably than a genuine UK graveyard shift. Cost: a fully managed desk in Lahore typically runs up to 70% below the loaded cost of equivalent in-house UK headcount. Language: Pakistan has a large pool of fluent, neutral-accent English speakers with existing BPO experience.

Cabica, Autocab, iCabbi, Cordic and TaxiCaller. Cabica is the platform we recommend to fleets that are still choosing or are ready to move, because its cloud setup makes remote agent access and permissioning straightforward. Whichever you run, we work inside your existing system using named accounts you issue. We do not ask you to change software to work with us.

Either. Some clients hand over the whole desk. Others keep a daytime team and use us purely for nights, weekends, bank holidays and sickness cover. Overflow is the most common way fleets start with us, because it de-risks the trial: we sit behind your existing queue and only take what your team cannot.

They will know they are speaking to a person who answers with your fleet's name and knows your zones, your fares and your drivers. We answer with your greeting, follow your scripts and work your escalation rules. Agents are trained on neutral-accent English and on your local geography before they take a live call.

Around two weeks. Days 1-2 are discovery, days 3-7 are SOP documentation and platform access setup, days 8-12 are agent training and shadow calls, and we go live on overflow from day 13, moving to full cutover once the service levels hold.

Yes, and it is set up properly rather than assumed. You stay the data controller and we act as your processor under a signed data processing agreement. Because Pakistan has no UK adequacy decision, transfers run under an International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Passenger data stays in your dispatch platform; our agents work inside it rather than copying it out. Full detail is on our GDPR page.

Pricing depends on your call volume curve, the hours you need covered and how many named agents you want dedicated to your account. We quote after a discovery call and a look at your last 30 days of call data, because a flat per-seat number would either overcharge a quiet fleet or under-resource a busy one. Most fleets see a total desk cost reduction of up to 70% against in-house UK staffing.

We staff to a rota with float capacity rather than to exact headcount, so absence is absorbed inside the shift. Our office runs on backup power and redundant connectivity, which is standard for BPO operations in Lahore. Because we work in your cloud dispatch platform, any agent on shift can pick up your queue.

Yes. The same team handles live web chat, WhatsApp Business, email and social messages in the same service-level window. Beyond the front line we also run back-office work: driver onboarding paperwork, licence renewal chasing, invoice processing and account admin.
