This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on ridedispatchers.com. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise that device on a later visit. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and tracking pixels — do much the same job. We refer to all of them as "cookies" here.
2. What this site uses
We keep this short. We do not run advertising cookies, we do not sell data to ad networks, and we do not build marketing profiles from your visit.
| Cookie / item | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_clck |
Microsoft Clarity | Persists a Clarity user ID so repeat visits are attributed to the same anonymous session. | 1 year |
_clsk |
Microsoft Clarity | Links together the page views in a single browsing session. | 1 day |
CLID |
Microsoft Clarity | Identifies the first time Clarity saw this browser, set on the Clarity domain. | 1 year |
| Google Maps cookies | Set only if you interact with the embedded map on our contact page. Used by Google to deliver and secure Maps. | Varies (Google) | |
| Google Fonts request | No cookie is set, but your IP address reaches Google's font servers so the page can load Inter and Roboto. | Not stored by us |
3. What we deliberately do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No social media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site data sharing with ad networks.
- No cookies that store personal details you typed into a form.
4. Analytics, and why we run it
We use Microsoft Clarity to see which pages people actually read, where they stop scrolling, and where a layout is confusing on mobile. Clarity masks text input by default, so what you type into our contact form is not captured in a recording. We use it to fix the site, not to identify you.
Microsoft's own privacy statement covers what it does with the data it collects: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
5. How to control cookies
5.1 In your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings — usually under Privacy, Security or Site settings. Blocking all cookies will not break this website; nothing here requires a login.
5.2 Opting out of Clarity specifically
- Turn on "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honour both.
- Use your browser's private or incognito mode.
- Block
clarity.mswith a content blocker.
5.3 Embedded map
The map on our contact page loads only when you scroll to it. If you would rather not load it at all, use the "Get directions" link instead — it opens Google Maps in a new tab, on your terms.
6. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, we will update the table above and change the date at the top of this page.
